On March 19, the USAID/MujerProspera: Advancing Gender Equality in Northern Central America event celebrated the innovative solutions and impact of nine organizations that have been working to advance gender equality in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

USAID and its partners are dedicated to closing the gender digital divide and empowering women in communities that are often left behind. 

USAID reaffirms that gender equality and women’s and girls’ empowerment are fundamental for the realization of human rights and key to effective and sustainable development outcomes. 

USAID reiterates its commitment to accelerate progress toward gender equality around the world, recognizing that doing so will improve the overall quality of life for all people throughout their lives.
