Women’s Political Participation and Leadership Assessment Framework

Description

This assessment framework was developed by USAID for the Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (DRG) staff to integrate gender into programming and to advance gender equality in civil society and government institutions. The framework develops a new measure of women's political leadership, which is broken down into political participation and political leadership, with special consideration to elements of power and access.
