Description

This 2016 Update to the U.S. Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence Globally is informed by the results of evaluations of implementation of the earlier United States Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence Globally. It is also informed by various consultations with U.S. departments and agencies, civil society organizations, the United Nations, and other donor agencies and multilateral institutions. 

This strategy sets forth concrete goals and actions to be implemented and monitored over three years, with an evaluation of progress made at the end of the forthcoming three years to chart a course forward.
