Return to Learning During Crisis Toolkit

Explore this toolkit which helps education planners make key decisions about an equitable and inclusive return to learning during and after crises such as COVID-19.

This toolkit encourages a holistic view in planning for the return to learning by providing decision-making tools, guidance, and evidence.

The toolkit provides a roadmap for restarting learning organized along five cross-cutting priorities:

  1. (Re)engage all learners, particularly the most marginalized;
  2. Develop education reopening plans;
  3. Adapt instructional time, curricula, and learning supports;
  4. Modify exams and learner promotion practices; and
  5. Re-engage educators and prepare the learning space.
