Feed the Future's 2019 Progress Snapshot on Women's Empowerment

Description

In addition to profiling the women and places involved in Feed the Future, this snapshot provides encouraging metrics of the project's success, including:

• More than $630 million in loans were unlocked for women and their businesses and 2.6 million more women gained access to credit as a direct result of Feed the Future’s work globally from 2011–2018.
• 8.2 million more women are living in households that are not hungry since Feed the Future began (estimated impact across target regions in Feed the Future’s focus countries from 2011–2017.)
