The gap between women's and men’s access to and use of the Internet and mobile phones is significant. As COVID-19 increases countries’ reliance on digital services, men will benefit disproportionately compared to women because men will have greater access to life-saving information. Women and girls without access to resilience-building information will be left behind, exacerbating existing gender inequalities.
